1990年毕业于武汉大学化学系,获学士学位。1993年和1996年分别于北京大学化学系获硕士学位和博士学位。19974月至19983月在加拿大滑铁卢大学化学系做博士后。19984月至200112月先后在美国佛罗里达大学化学系、生物技术中心及生物/纳米技术交叉研究中心做博士后、助理研究员。20014月入选中科院百人计划,200112月回国工作,任中国科学院化学研究所分子纳米结构与纳米技术重点实验室研究员,博士生导师。
